How to avoid Office 2007 configuration on Windows 11

But I personally used Office 2007 on Windows 10 until not long ago, too lazy to change and the fact that for a bit of word processing and spreadsheet work, it was sufficient.

It never asked me anything special during installation.

The problem may arise from connecting under a Microsoft account rather than locally and from the pre-installation of trial versions of Office 365 on certain new PCs: indeed, it doesn’t go very well unless you uninstall 365, and that’s not so easy, as the control panel is not enough (you also need to add the Office uninstallation assistant and do some cleanup in the registry and disk files).

One of the most common "solutions" is to hold down CTRL while opening Excel (safe mode) if that helps...

But I strongly advise you to upgrade to a more recent version, (or even to LibreOffice for occasional use...)
