Hello,
I recently bought a 4K TV (Philips), and when I try to connect my PC via HDMI, whether to play games or watch movies, the TV tells me that the video format is not supported (but it still detects an HDMI connection).
On my PC (Windows 10) - and this is where I’m completely lost - it shows another screen when I search for a device, but I can't project anything onto it (it works fine with other screens...). The computer recognizes that there is another screen, but it doesn't "detect" it; I can't dissociate it, change the resolution, etc... (when I go to display, screen 1/2 are the same screen).
It offers me a pairing with the TV (where the code appears on both the TV and the PC), but when I do it, nothing happens, and the screen goes back to black.
When I go to the Nvidia settings, and the HDMI is connected, it only displays the Philips TV screen...
However, when the HDMI is connected, my computer doesn't produce sound anymore, and neither does the TV....
I've searched for hours on what to do with no hope, so if you have any ideas, I would be eternally grateful.
Thank you in advance <3

Hello,
Windows key + P --> choose the desired display, is that how you do it?
Is your HDMI cable at least HDMI 1.4 compliant?

Best regards
