Solved

Hello,
the power switch wire of my PC is cut (Power SW) and I don't use the "Reset SW", can I reverse them and connect the "Reset SW" wire to the "+PW-" indication on my motherboard to power on my PC (with the other button)?
Thank you :)

Yes, the 2 switches work the same way even though I don't know all the models of boxes (I have to test each switch with a multimeter to verify it)
    - low voltage and low current (you shouldn't even feel anything if you touch a live component)
    - and temporary pulse when pressing the button which stops when you release it.

Each switch has 2 wires + and - with the same name that must be connected to the + and - pins with the same name on the motherboard, power sw or reset sw. So far, I've always been able to swap them. (I personally check a switch with a multimeter before connecting it to a motherboard).

To swap between these 2 switches, it is therefore the 2 wires + and - from the reset sw switch that must be connected to the + and - pins of the power sw on the motherboard. (your explanation is unclear on this point; you seem to consider that the + wire of a switch)

Happy New Year to you too!!

Sorry if I wasn’t clear, but it was just about swapping the RESET and POWER switches.

Since the issue was urgent despite your super quick response, thank you!! I took the "risk" of swapping the two without knowing much about it, and it worked, so for anyone who might find themselves in the same situation as me, here you go, it works????????

Thanks again for the response, see you soon!
