How to dim the backlight on Philips TV

Hello, I have a Philips 49pus6101/12 TV. The problem is that I can't find the "backlight" setting that allows me to reduce the brightness intensity of the TV. There is the "brightness" adjustment, but that doesn't work for me because it only darkens the image without reducing the TV's brightness intensity. What I don't understand is that I've had several TVs before (1 Samsung from 2019 and 1 Sony from 2010), and on both of my previous televisions, there was a "backlight" setting.

Regarding backlighting, the manual in its index (page 105) refers to a setting "Backlight Contrast" on page 56.
So check if this setting aligns with what you want.

It's very difficult to catch a black cat in a dark room.
Especially when it's not there...
