Hello, for the past 3 days, my phone has been sending messages on its own. But the most troubling thing is that it’s always the same message: Your package has been sent. Please check and receive it, and it is always followed by a strange web address. These messages are also sent to numbers I don't know and always between 10:20 AM and 11:15 AM.
Thank you in advance for any help you can provide.

Configuration: Android / Chrome 96.0.4664.104

Yes, indeed, nuance, the text message travels in the other direction... strange...

In my opinion, you must have had an app installed without noticing it, on your phone... and it activates every day at the same time.
As @Pant33 says, it’s an old scam... but in your case, you are the one sending the scam message... Certainly, you have become the intermediary for the real mastermind...?? You may even be charged for doing this work..??

-- You should check in ==>Settings==>apps== See if you find an unknown app, with a strange name that you never requested or installed... Make a whitelist and a blacklist.. and in the end, the goal would be to uninstall this unwanted app... if this robot can be seen in your applications...
It must be a script..(???) it could also be in a folder like a text file..

-- You can also reset your phone, with the risk of losing everything you have stored in it... This would be a violent and extreme method...

Got it, I'll try the method you suggested, thanks. I'll send a message if this method works.

Hello,

I had the same problem too and I searched online, then I came across the Numerama site which explains this well and gives solutions such as: by clicking on this link your smartphone will download a weird app that appears as Chrome. You just need to find this fake Chrome which only weighs a few kilobytes compared to the real one, and it only has access to your SMS, contacts, and phone. You can quickly identify it.

I'll send you the link to Numerama's page that explains this if you want more info.

“Your package has been sent”: beware of this SMS, it hides malware - Numerama
