Realtek Audio Console won't launch.

Hello,
While I was playing Fortnite, I wanted to connect my EarsPods for good mic quality while talking to my friends, but my headphones wouldn't work, so I tried them on my Switch, same result. Then I wanted to launch Realtek Audio Console, the software that allows me to define whether it's a headset, earphones, a mic, or speakers. This software usually launches automatically when I connect a headset to the jack, but this time it didn't. So when I tried to start it manually, I noticed that the software launched but remained stuck on a loading screen until I encountered an error message, which I will attach a screenshot of, informing me "Failed to connect to the RPC service."

My Config:
Updated Windows 10
Realtek headphone jack working with other headsets without the mic
RAM: 8GB
Processor: Intel Core i3 10th generation
Fortnite version: 19.2
Brand: Asus
Model: Asus VivoBook

Thank you in advance and goodbye.

hi

check if the RPC service is enabled

in search, type --> services and click on --> open

in the page that opens, search for --> remote procedure call (RPC)

check if it is set to --> automatic

if not, double click on the line and set it to automatic

see you later

Hello,
The service is indeed automated. I'm attaching the screenshot that I forgot to send earlier and the screenshot of Services.

Since the EarPods didn't work on either device, have you tested another peripheral (headphones, etc.) to see if the problem is the same?

I tested my headphones on another device (iPhone 6s) and the headphones do not work, they are indeed dead. So, I tested an old Vtech headset on my computer and my Switch (the only one I had on hand) and it worked well. So, it’s not the headphones that matter to me because I can buy them at a nearby Super U, but it’s rather the Realtek Audio Console application that matters to me, as it is at the center of everything for me.

Hi

does your old Vtech headset work with the Realtek Audio console?

hi

therefore, I wonder if the EarPods haven't "caused a mess," since they’re not working

if the console works with your old headset, I don’t see why it wouldn’t work with another device...

see you later
