Pop reader issue

Hello everyone,

For a month now, I've switched my plan with Free from the mini 4K to the Delta.

Since then, the connection is super smooth and the repeater is more effective than ever.

However, the big problem I'm facing: when I turn on the TV, sometimes I get a black screen, sometimes static, my TV restarts on the Philips logo, and when I watch programs (TV channels or streaming platforms) I experience micro interruptions.

I've tried turning off the HDMI CEC option and changing display settings, but the problem persists, sometimes even causing audio/video sync issues.

If I disable HDMI CEC on my TV, the problem occurs less frequently, but I lose the use of my soundbar (its remote control no longer works, so I have to use the TV remote).

Apparently, many people face the same issue, but no technique so far has managed to resolve my problem... Maybe one of you has the miracle solution.

In any case, thank you in advance for your feedback, and I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the problem resolves in the future, with or without a solution.

Hello.
Go to the "settings" of the POP player (gear icon), then to "device preferences," then to "about," and finally to "system update." Check if it's up to date.

Do you have fiber?
Is your POP player connected via WiFi, Ethernet, or powerline adapter?

I have fiber at full speed and I'm connected via Ethernet; I always prefer to prioritize this method for more stability.

Try connecting the player to WiFi; if that doesn't work, check with Free, as I have the POP and have no such issues. It could also be your TV, not necessarily the POP player, so contact Free.
