Hello,

I am a user of Google Docs, Sheets, Drive, etc. and I am on a Mac. When I try to make a slash in my Google documents with option+/, the help window opens. How can I create a slash then? Is there another command that I am unaware of? Thanks in advance.

Configuration: Macintosh / Chrome 96.0.4664.93

Hello,

If you don't have a numeric keypad, it's Shift + / (the key for ":") and not "Option" (And they call it Alt, for "Alternative" character), option is for something else specific to Macs). The Alt key is used for the third character of a key, Alt+"&zero;" to type the @ symbol for example ...

Best regards.

If you don't explain what you mean by a "slash," you'll never get an answer!
