Nvidia SLI Issues

Hello everyone, here is my problem.

I have two CG 1070 of the same brand with the SLI bridge, and a Z97 Gaming 9 AC motherboard.

My computer detects both GPUs but I can't enable SLI mode in the Nvidia 3D settings because it doesn't offer me the option.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled all my drivers, I tried my luck in the BIOS but nothing works. My second GPU remains hopelessly inactive..

    Hello,
Are the drivers up to date?

Thank you for your response. I just updated all the motherboard drivers, but unfortunately, there was no change on the graphics card side.

I tried to swap my two GPUs by completely uninstalling Nvidia and reinstalling with updates, but nothing in the options offers me SLI once again.

    Re

The motherboard is compatible......the graphics cards too, although you say they are of the same brand, are they exactly the same model? Because with SLI it's essential.
What version of Windows are you running?

Just a point or two and I'm dry..
On the power supply side, are the cards well connected (I assume so, but it's always good to ask), is the power supply okay in terms of wattage?

Finally, on the storage side, do you have an M.2 or NVMe SSD? Because that takes PCIe lanes and could explain the issue.

After that, I clearly don't see where the solution lies...

I have a Corsair RM 1000W power supply, so I think I'm good on that front.

    My SSDs are SATA 3.

I'm wondering about the SLI bridge; do I need two of this type (PNY HB SLI Bridge 2 slots Quadro P
Multi-GPU bridge 2 slots for NVIDIA Quadro P4000/P5000/P6000)

    Hello,
Your SLI is intended for 2 nVidia Quadro P and not for GeForce GTX. Could there be a problem with the graphics card model?

So in principle one is enough, the second connector on the cards is for a third graphics card (for a 3-way SLI...)
I really don't see what's wrong with your SLI...

Thank you for your answers and your help.

I really don’t understand why the Nvdia software doesn’t offer me the SLI option...

Hello, I bought the bridge and installed it. Then I reinstalled my Nvidia drivers, but unfortunately, it doesn't offer the SLI mode once again.

I performed a benchmark and here are the results, it seems to me that SLI is not active...

      I really don't understand...

Does the Nvidia software still offer this mode? Or is it just me who is bugging... If I go to a repair shop, can they help me?
