Mobiwire H30 SFR Phone

Hello everyone.
My neighbor has an SFR phone subscription, and for the past 3 years, SFR has cut off her landline and replaced her France Télécom phone with a rechargeable Mobiwire H 30 device, all while keeping her France Télécom number. It's a hassle; it charges very poorly, it cuts off the conversation after about 30 minutes, and I've reported this issue to SFR, which sent her a second device that has the same flaws.
I would like to buy her another phone that is rechargeable on a base station; they don't sell them in SFR stores. I would also like to obtain a new SIM card while keeping her current number, as the one installed now is in pretty bad shape. The SFR stores cannot create a new one. I called SFR technical support at 1023, which records the call; they always respond that they are looking into the issue and will call back, but they never do.
How can I resolve this issue?
I am counting on you to help me solve this problem.
I look forward to hearing from you, and I thank you in advance. Have a great day.

      Hello

CCM is not the support of a telecommunications operator....

Your question has been moved to the "Telephony" subforum... since it was originally in "Office Automation" ... (which is dedicated to word processing, spreadsheets, etc... and not to telephony)

Anyway, if your question inspires a forum participant, they will come below to provide an answer.

    Hello,
    I don't understand everything....
You say: SFR replaced its France Telecom phone with a Mobiwire H 30 rechargeable device on a dock, while keeping its France Telecom number
They kept a geographic number in 04 with a phone not connected to the wired network or a box?
On the other hand, you mention a SIM card
This Mobiwire H30 is a 3G GSM, so it must have a number starting with 06 or 07

Regarding obtaining a new SIM card for this SFR business subscription, only SFR business can provide a new one.

      Hello,
      indeed,
I’m discovering this matter as well, a landline number (geographic, no less) on the GSM mobile network, that's strange, technically it's not impossible, but it's quite bizarre nonetheless,
especially when we know that SFR cannot port a number between SFR and RED.
We discover marginal things, even beyond the norms every day.
      Also,
what's the point of deleting a landline to replace it with a mobile line?
      The price of the subscription?
But there is total unbundling for that, or is it an area not covered by ADSL?

    Good evening, Sir.
Contrary to what you think, the Mobilwire device does have a SIM card with the following number 0247059°°°. This device was provided to this lady to eliminate the landline that existed at the time.
You can get an overview of the quality of this device by searching online for <mobiwire h="">; you will find user reviews for this device.
I apologize for insisting, but I don't see how I can resolve my issue.
Thank you for keeping me updated.
I look forward to your response and appreciate it.
Have a good end of the day.
    Best regards.

      Hi,
was this phone purchased or is it provided by SFR with the subscription?
By the way, how much is this subscription, just out of curiosity about this offer I'm discovering.

      Hello,

Since it takes two to be curious, contrary to what is written elsewhere, this type of subscription is offered to individuals.

Curiously, at SFR, it is inseparable from an evolving plan:
      https://www.sfr.fr/offre-mobile/telephones/mobiwire?r=

whereas at SFR RED, this type can be purchased alone:

      Arf,
I thought that Mobiwire was a commercial offer from SFR,
it turns out it’s a mobile brand, formerly Sagem, which I knew better in another life, for its PRO telecom products, faxes, and modems, as well as the Livebox of course :-)

Personally, it's not the phone that catches my attention
but the portability of a geographic number (landline) to a mobile phone.

Absolutely agree, and I didn’t invent dynamite but I certainly perceive its utility even less: if we don’t pay for a landline subscription, we’ll get a mobile subscription (which can be cheaper depending on the plans), why bother with that thing, the cost perhaps makes it not very reliable, most people today don’t even have a landline anymore (or even a phone plugged into it, which is essentially the same).

    Sorry,
We learn something new every day... for me, until today, number portability could not exist between landlines and mobiles.
I looked at this device this morning..
Regarding the charging problem, I found this in a manual:
    The manual in question https://static.s-sfr.fr/media/2019_mobiwire_h30.pdf

    I also saw this
    https://forum.quechoisir.org/mobiwire-h30-impossible-de-recharger-la-batterie-t224731.html

At Sfr business there are several Mobiwire including one, the Huawei F662, which also has a base... and could very well be used in the same way as the H30
The manual for the Huawei F662:
    https://static.s-sfr.fr/media/guide_huawei_f662.pdf

I also think that it is not SFR that should be contacted for a SIM card replacement but SFR Business

    Hello,

I confirm this story... or I too was incredulous at first... SFR, after soliciting, placed one at my brother's... it's a HUAWEI F688-20 here is https://www.amazon.fr/Huawei-F688-T%C3%A9l%C3%A9phone-Fonctionne-op%C3%A9rateurs/dp/B01FWHY8GW

My brother has no Box or other internet... he had a landline that was working normally... He was paying for a subscription plus calls like FT... and SFR placed this for him... No wires.. and it's cheaper in the end..??? I saw a bill, it's a two-hour plan.

And he has kept his previous landline number... Incredible but true...

      Hi,
Is it cheaper than an ADSL box?
What is the exact offer at SFR?

yes, I had already asked for it.... ;-)

but it talks about data plans, not just a phone subscription, I was thinking of a phone subscription only.
if we take the small 2-hour plan, is it 5€ then?
Compared to a fixed line Orange at 25€ for 2 hours, it's worth it :-)

For me, telephone technology is like Greek.

Is it just a simple commercial offer, or can we assume that for there to be an actual "conversion" of a mobile number to a landline number, this would happen at the level of the operator for whom, under these conditions, data communications would be necessary?

Anyway, voice communications, whether fixed or mobile, are increasingly moving to IP: VoLTE, VoWiFi will gradually replace the old time-division multiplexing of PSTN and 2G/3G GSM, which will eventually be phased out.
All of this will become more universal.

Here is some information... I couldn't find the contract for the offer... it should be understood that it's only for the phone and nothing for the internet, no BOX... Nothing... The idea was to replace the landline phone (with an Orange FT line) with a semblance of a landline phone... without the orange line, in the countryside, it's better, according to them.

The bill is 54.80 for two months, including 15€ for the communication plan (2 hours)..

I also revealed the codes on the paper in QR code SF221070061 and another code POCZWD00QC001
These codes might mean something to someone..??

I have nothing else... and the brother has passed away... I discovered everything along the way.
