Darty and purchase refund?

Hello everyone

After purchasing a product at Darty (already paid for, with invoice, but available only on Tuesday), I would like to retract and cancel my purchase for a refund and turn to second-hand options or an online purchase. Does anyone know how to proceed with a retraction? Can I do this over the phone or do I need to go to the store before the pickup date?

Thank you all for your replies.

Hello,

The right of withdrawal only exists for online purchases (and not all of them) and follows a specific formalism:
https://www.service-public.fr/particuliers/vosdroits/F10485

If the item was purchased in a store, the retailer can refund you, issue a credit note, or do nothing at all depending on their mood as they are not obligated to do anything.

Good evening,

Thank you for your response.

However, once the payment has been made and the item has been retrieved (next Tuesday), if it is not unboxed, I still have the right to retract within 14 days, right?

Here are some links:

This is not a legal retraction, but rather a commercial option that the seller may offer at certain times or permanently to change their mind.

But if you know the specific provisions that Darty offers, including their time frame, why are you asking the question?
