Connecting a new Canal+ decoder
Good evening,
I had a Sennheiser HDR 110 headset connected to the Canal + decoder via RCA. However, the new decoder no longer has RCA but has SPDIF. How can I make the connection using an adapter or converter? Canal offers a Toslink cable! I need to connect RCA to SPDIF.
Thank you
Best regards

Hello
You are facing the same issue as the "non Canal+", the majority of TVs today no longer offer an "Analog" audio output but only "Digital" outputs, either via Toslink or HDMI.
You will therefore need to use an adapter to RCA Cinch, connected either via Toslink to the decoder or HDMI between the decoder and the TV.
The "Digital" outputs are not amplified, so it's important to make the right choice.
A+
If the answer helped you: a little thank you is nice. If it's resolved: the green button at the top is better ;-)

Hello and welcome to this forum,
Yes, you need a DAC, for example this one:
