Hello,

Configuration: Android / Chrome 95.0.4638.50
I would like to stop seeing pornographic ads and receiving the notifications that come with them. How can I do that?

The only solution is to go to your settings, then completely disable Chrome notifications.

Be vigilant! If you receive this kind of notification, it's because you are close to a virus

      Good evening,

We are mixing genres quite freely.

To receive notifications from a website, you must have visited it and accepted them.

Advertising pop-ups are displayed due to scripts on the site (which can easily be blocked through an appropriate browser extension, NoScript or its equivalent, but which will tend to block third-party scripts more readily than those from the site itself, which one can only open, even with NoScript, if they have been specifically accepted).

They often originate from dubious sites, where the scripts in question are either embedded or come from third-party sites, but not always: it could be an ostensibly innocent site that has been hacked into after connecting.

And of course, unless you open an infected executable, a virus will also use scripts as a backdoor, but will most often cause numerous pop-ups or windows to open spontaneously even when you are not browsing.

Therefore, it is perfectly possible to receive all the porn pop-ups and notifications from around the globe without a virus being involved, except of course that browsing dubious sites increases the risk of loading viral content.
