Home theater player pop

Question

Hello, I switched to free because it was more advantageous, but we have a Sony home theater system and the sound is terrible. We have the TV player pop decoder and we can't get good sound with the home theater. Are there any settings to adjust?

Ok...
If I understood correctly:
HDMI output from the connected device (via HDMI cable) to one of the HDMI IN ports (1 or 2) of the home theater and HDMI OUT from the home theater connected (via HDMI cable) to an HDMI input on the television.

Under these conditions, is the sound not good?
Are your HDMI cables of good quality?

One solution would be to try a connection via optical cable between the optical output of the device and the optical input of the home theater.
Again, prioritize a good quality cable... (not the cheapest ones)

Note for the Samsung television, there is likely a label on the back showing the model.
