Hello. I have a small HP tower that got stuck due to updates.
Since then, when I start it, I get 8 beeps from the BIOS.
I read that it could be a graphics card or memory issue.
I have an integrated card... and a 4GB stick of RAM.
I unplugged the peripherals, even the screen, but the problem persists.
HP motherboard 8643. AMD Athlon 300GE
What should I do?

Hello,
HP support
8 short beeps:
The video controller is missing, the RAM is faulty
Solutions:
Reseat the graphics card or its expansion memory.
If the problem persists, replace the graphics card.
It might be problematic, but we can often replace an integrated card with an expansion card under certain conditions
Best regards
