So it seems that the standby mode is automatic after 4 hours of no interaction with the remote or buttons...this can be adjusted but the minimum appears to be 4 hours.

Because we can find the automatic power on and off, but not the scheduled standby... and yet it is indicated in the TV's features... so it must exist..??

You also need to be careful, the OK button and maybe others behave differently depending on whether you press them briefly or for a long time (3 seconds)
