TCL TV Sleep Mode Solved

Question

Hello,
I bought a TCL television model 40ES561. It's quite good overall... but there's one feature I haven't been able to find. Neither in the manual nor online: how do I set the TV to turn off by itself? (program the device to go into standby)

Hello, You need to go to the settings More settings Device preferences Screensaver Sleep duration  And there you select the desired time  It's long but it works ????

So it seems that the standby mode is automatic after 4 hours of no interaction with the remote or buttons...this can be adjusted but the minimum appears to be 4 hours.

Because we can find the automatic power on and off, but not the scheduled standby... and yet it is indicated in the TV's features... so it must exist..??

You also need to be careful, the OK button and maybe others behave differently depending on whether you press them briefly or for a long time (3 seconds)

Maybe... but we don't modify the circuits of your TV... That's a question you should have asked before the purchase... If the seller knows how to answer without lying...
