timer issue Solved

Question

I just bought an LG 50LN5400 TV, but it turns off by itself after 3 or 4 hours of operation even with the timer set to turn off, and customer service is unhelpful. Is there another solution regarding the machine? Thank you.

Hello,
What are you watching on your TV?
A box?
Because if that's the case and you don’t touch the remote control at all, some TVs go into automatic shutdown, and it has nothing to do with the timer.
Mine does this but after more than 4 hours and it displays a message on the screen before turning off.
It's a Samsung too, so maybe it's different for you.
Check the settings to see if there's anything about automatic shutdown.

Hello,

Try using the television remote to go to Settings --> Time and set everything to Off.
But you can configure it differently according to your personal choices too ;)

Case solved, the automatic standby was set to 4 hours in the settings and yet I was wandering all around, so I don't know how I could have missed it, you are great thank you very much.
