Hello, When I watch TV on my LG via my box, I can watch TV for over 4 hours without a standby mode kicking in. When I use the LG TV's internet browser to watch a video, a screen with fireworks appears approximately every 20 minutes, and I have to press a button on the remote for this screen to disappear. Do you know how to remove this screen? Thank you in advance.

I couldn't solve the problem, but I don't think it's a setting on the LG, rather an internet setting.
This screen with fireworks only appears when I use the internet on the TV.
It’s like a computer standby mode when you don't move the mouse.
The problem is, I don't know what to do to change that.

Idem I listen to apple music and I have the karaoke lyrics mode which is nice except that I have to move my remote every 30 seconds! I can't find how to adjust the timer for this fireworks screensaver! It's really annoying...

Hello, I believe I found the solution. You need to go to:
All settings -> General -> Additional settings -> Eco Mode -> HDD Eco Mode (disabled)

This also disables the screensaver from the browser.

I believe I’ve gone through all the options and there’s no way to prevent this damn fireworks sleep mode, which comes back after a minute of inactivity if you're not connected to a specific device (e.g.: listening to music via Spotify using AirPlay).

Hello, I am responding two months after your questions.

So if you do a minimum of research, you cannot remove this screen's sleep mode.

And it is the best thing for your screen.

Let me explain why.

Firstly, if you have the sleep mode with effects, it means your TV is not connected to an internet source...

Secondly, this device helps prevent image persistence, which is a temporary or permanent residual image on a screen.
Basically, it's to prevent a fixed image (like a movie paused, the waiting screen on Netflix, etc.) from sticking and remaining on the screen (a problem for later TVs...).

At that point, the panel is dead, and considering the price of a panel, you might as well change your TV given the prices of TVs.

So, it might be annoying, but it's the best solution unless you can afford to change TVs every month...

So it's a very useful device... and I even advise you to turn off the screen only if you are not using it... and to perform OLED panel maintenance from time to time as well.

Same for me on a LG55C9, I've tried multiple option deactivations and nothing works, the message always appears...

I even thought it was my home theater connected via HDMI ARC that was causing it, but no, because when I change the source it's the same. For my part, it's with the internet browser and I've already experienced this with lyrics on Spotify.

Let's hope for an update from LG, but I don't have high hopes...
