I can't get my Bluetooth transmitter/receiver to work on my Sony Bravia TV (old model).
I have a recent JBL650BT headset that works perfectly with my iPad and my One+ mobile.
Thank you for your help.

Hello,
What are the references (Brand and model) of this Bluetooth transmitter/receiver?
Is it properly set to "transmitter" (TX)?
What is the model of the Sony Bravia television?
Where is the Bluetooth transmitter connected on the television?

Bluetooth 5.0 Transmitter and Receiver Nomad Elegiant, purchased from Cdiscount in June 2021.
I have correctly selected "transmitter".
The transmitter is connected to the TV via the audio cable provided to both ports, red and white.
TV: Sony Bravia model 52NX80x, which does not recognize the Bluetooth of the JBL headphones.
Thank you for your advice.

The RCA (red - white) connectors on televisions are inputs.
Is this your Bluetooth transmitter?

If so, it has three types of input: RCA, 3.5 mm jack, and optical.
Unless I'm mistaken, your television offers a headphone output and an optical output.
So, it is on one of these outputs that you need to connect the transmitter... preferably to the optical output (better sound quality), as the headphone output generally disables the TV's speakers.
For the optical output, check in the "Sound" or "Audio" menu of the TV to see if there is any setting to enable the optical output (SPDIF) and the output format (PCM usually).

I have the Bluetooth transmitter and receiver model / Musou as shown in the photo from Cdiscount (for €9.00).
This model only has one audio input on the right (red) and one audio output on the left (black), with the USB charging in the center.
I will try to find where the optical outputs are located on the TV to connect the device. -
Well! You need to know.. one time it's the Elegiant model, now we're on the Musou
This Musou only has one transmit input (red) 3.5mm jack, so it needs to be connected to the headphone output of the TV.
So if you need to use the headphones while others are listening to the TV, you will have to check the "Sound" menu on the TV to turn the speakers on or off

I'm sorry, but I thought the logo on the push button was that of the Elegiant brand.
I can't find the (red and white) input for the headphone jack on my TV to connect the transmitter.
Is it still possible to connect the transmitter to the cassette or DVD player, both having a headphone output and connected to the TV?
Thank you.-
The headphone jack on the television is generally located on the left side of the screen; it is not red and white, it is a 3.5mm jack.
I cannot find an image showing the connectivity of your Sony.
The headphone jack usually has a symbol in the shape of headphones and may additionally be labeled "audio out".
The cable you need is a stereo jack3.5/jack3.5 cable.

The socket could look like this
Is it still possible to connect the transmitter to the cassette or DVD player, both with a headphone output and connected to the TV?
Well, no... it would only transmit the sound from the cassette or DVD player, not from the TV
