Hello,

The Familink connected photo frames sold between 2017 and 2020 are equipped with an internal battery. This battery allows the Familink photo frame to be used even when the device is unplugged from an electrical outlet. Since 2020, Familink frames no longer have a battery, which makes for a more reliable product over time.

Hello everyone, I solved the problem with the Familink frame that keeps turning on and off.
It's due to the battery. On the tester, it showed a charge lower than 0.7v from its optimal charge. That's enough to make the frame malfunction. Since the frame was no longer under warranty, I desoldered the two wires from the battery and ordered a new one, making sure to take the same reference (18€ at Ivifix.com ref: GSP3070100 2600mAh 3.7V 9.62Wh Replacement Battery for Tablet PC Version Two Wires) be sure to select the "two wires = 2 fils" option, I'm not advertising but it's the only site where I found exactly the same one. Once I received the battery, I soldered the wires. I plugged in the charger and there it was: The frame turned on again without any glitches! Yes! However, I can no longer interact with it. It stays in a loop with old photos even though I reset it on the site. On the electronic board, I noticed 4 mini buttons on the edge. I tried pressing the one closest to the battery. Eureka! It did a reset and the frame works perfectly again ???????? I'm sharing my feedback so it can help others ???? if you have any questions about disassembly or anything else, feel free to ask!
