Redmi Note 8 Pro sound issue. Closed

Hello,

For a few days now, my Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro has been increasing and decreasing the volume by itself!
I turn up the phone’s volume while watching a video and 3 seconds later, the volume drops as if someone is pressing the button.

Is anyone else experiencing the same problem as me?

Configuration: Android / Firefox 91.0

Hi,
I found a solution after two hours to stop this, as my power button wasn’t working either. I simply took my phone in my left hand, pressed the buttons with my right hand three times, and they started working again.

Exactly the same with my Xiaomi Mi 9, I read on another forum that it could be dust behind the buttons.

Personally, it had happened to me once two weeks ago, I let it completely drain its battery and then I waited one day without touching it. It stopped but it's happening again.

Hello,

I had the same problem with my Redmi Note 8, and what happened was that when I wanted to lower the volume, it would go up to maximum all of a sudden.
Moreover, it would say "game creation..." when I pressed too long.

I found the issue, and it was dirt; I removed the case and blew on the button to increase the volume, and it worked!

I think in most cases, it's just dirt...
