Good evening, I just purchased a new HP Pavilion gaming tower, but I have a little issue. When I connected it to the monitor, it displayed "entering power save mode." I have a Dell P2210 monitor, and it is connected via DisplayPort while the tower is connected with an HDMI cable (I tried all possible HDMI connections, so it's not that). Additionally, when I tried to unplug the DisplayPort from the monitor, it got stuck and a piece remained stuck in the computer (even though I was using the correct connector and in the right orientation). I'm a beginner in computing, so please don't judge me but give me advice on what I should do next.
Thanks in advance.
Thanks in advance.

Hello
...a piece got stuck in the computer...
Check with the seller if there's a manufacturer's warranty

What do you mean by that? Are you using a DP/HDMI cable?
Please provide the exact model of your HP computer.
