Hello everyone,

I bought an Asus Zen Pad 10 and from time to time, it shows me the message: FastBoot Mode.

I thought it was due to the battery, but when it's charged, I turn off the tablet for two hours and when I turn it back on, occasionally I get the FastBoot Mode message and I can't turn it back on.

Why is this message appearing? What can I do to make it disappear? Is it a defect? I'm considering sending it to customer service...

Thanks everyone!

    Hello,

Generally, this is due to starting up by pressing (and holding) the "power" and "volume -" buttons, which causes this type of behavior.

A shutdown by holding the power button for about 10 seconds should allow it to turn off, and then care should be taken not to turn it back on by simultaneously holding several buttons...

    Hi,

Actually, to start, I only press the Power button, just that, I don't press any other buttons and from time to time, I get this message.

    Bug?

In that case, possibly a bug... there's a long press that makes the screen appear.

If the phone is up to date and the problem persists, you should check with the manufacturer... if they have a fix or a procedure for this issue.

Yes, I'll check that out because it's a bit annoying. I just bought the tablet, and it started acting up within the first few days. I'll look into it.

      Thanks!
