Black screen with mouse cursor visible

Hello,
Since yesterday my computer displays a black screen with only the cursor visible.
I see the boot screen with the PC logo and then the Windows logo, and at the moment when the login screen should appear, nothing else shows up apart from this cursor.

Actually, yesterday the power went out at home while the computer was on (with only a Chrome window open), and since then it's been impossible to access anything.

I tried pressing CTRL+ALT+DELETE but the screen remains desperately black...

I'm on Windows 10.

Help !!!!

Hello,

Try this:

- Restart the PC three times in a row; it may enter automatic repair.
- If recovery options appear on a blue screen, perform a system restore or select System Startup Tools.

If everything fails, either the hard drive is defective or it's Windows.

A big thank you for your response!
After several unsuccessful attempts, I managed to start in safe mode and recover a backup.
Everything is working perfectly again!
