Hello,
I'm working on a Google Sheets file, and when I copy and paste a column of numbers (with a point and not a comma for decimals) to insert it into an Open Office sheet, my numbers turn into dates.
Who can help me solve this problem, which I'm sure is simple but I can't seem to resolve?
Thank you thank you
Gouri

Hello
Dates/Times are "formats" of display...
For example, if in a cell where there was a date, you enter 1, it displays January 1, 1900, the 1st day of the spreadsheet calendar...
You just need to change the display "format" to get back to 1 and vice versa...
If you copy/paste numbers with dots instead of commas, just "replace" all the . with , (available in find/replace).
Cheers
If the answer helped you: a little thank you is nice. If it's resolved: the green button at the top is better ;-)
Let he who has never opened a user manual throw the first mouse.
