Hello,

We connected a Bose soundbar to our TCL 55C725 TV. We cannot disable the TV's speakers. So we have sound coming from both the soundbar and the TV...
We tried setting the volume to 0, but the problem is that the icon remains on the screen.
Some people mentioned adjusting the settings with T-Link, but when we go into the settings, there is nothing.

Hello
the soundbar is an amplifier for the bass, it does not replace the sound of the TV, on the contrary

you need to find the balance between the treble from the TV and the bass from the soundbar

Hello,

A number of TVs and Home Theaters have settings directing the audio output either to the built-in speakers or to "external speakers," this feature being more often absent from entry-level soundbars (which are most of the time made up not just of a subwoofer) than from more advanced Home Theaters.

But even my TV, which is not exactly brand new, is equipped with this function, at least when the sound comes from the TV or the multimedia devices connected to it; when using a PC and Chromecast, it can indeed happen that this whole setup gets mixed up.
