Hello,
When you are in the Messages app, click on the three dots in the top right corner and choose Settings, then Notifications.
Then click on Incoming messages (the feature should already be activated).
On the next screen, click on Sound.
Choose a sound from the list. You should hear the sound. Pick the one that suits you best.
Adjust the volume at the same time using the vol+ and vol- buttons.
You can also adjust the volume in the general settings of the smartphone: Settings > Sounds and Vibration > Volume.

What is well conceived is clearly expressed,
And the words to say it readily come.

Hello,
I still don't have a ringtone when I receive a text message on my Samsung Galaxy A10e
I've done the following checks:
-I clicked on messaging (blue icon)
-clicked on the three little dots
-settings
-notifications
-clicked on new messages (I don't have incoming messages) it's in blue
-the dot is blue next to Alert
-I already have "Spaceline" selected for the sound

Hello
follow what you're told and don't go elsewhere
open your messaging app then the three little dots.
go to notifications and you will see a list, including allowing sound. scroll down and keep scrolling, and you will see incoming messages, tap on it and among other options, also SOUND, tap on it and choose your ringtone....
don't forget, in the general settings for sounds you haven't set the notification sounds to zero, the sound settings are independent based on the ringtone for calls, texts, etc...

Under no circumstances do I see "allow sound" and "incoming messages"
displayed in the app Notifications, it says Messaging at the center at the top, below, it says this:
-Display notifications
-Emergency alerts
-Forward synchronization...
-General notifications
-New messages
-App icon badges
-Notification settings in the app.
That's all... I apologize for the inconvenience caused...

Hello
I thought he was using Google's messaging app himself.
Press on notification settings in the app to see.

I don't see what your problem is. Your manual is here

then install Smart Switch on your PC and make a backup, then reset your Samsung. It might be a bug.
