TCL TV channels

Question

Hello,

I just bought a TCL television, I connected it to the wifi box orange, but I can't get any TV channels; I don't understand the channel search (cable, antenna, analog, digital) nothing works.

Not connected to an antenna, the seller told me that it wasn't necessary as long as the TV receives the wifi, besides I have Netflix without any problem.

I want to clarify that this is not the main TV which works with the Orange box and is not connected to an outdoor antenna, my new TV is in the bedroom.

Hello,
To search for channels on a television, you need to do the following:
- cable if the television is connected via its antenna cable to a cable network (Numericable)
- on antenna if the television is connected via its antenna cable to a "râteau" antenna
- digitally in all cases, as analog TV no longer exists in France.
However, if you have a TV box, it should be connected to an HDMI port and you need to select HDMIx (x being the number of the used HDMI port) as the source.
As for WiFi, you should be able to connect to TV.Orange.

Go to https://chaines-tv.orange.fr/, and log in with your Orange email and password.
It's very difficult to catch a black cat in a dark room.
Especially when it's not there...

Hello, thank you for your response. In fact, the seller had explained to me that I could have the channels on my second television via Wi-Fi, which turns out to be completely false; I obviously need a second decoder, which is paid.
