Free plug-freebox Revolution that keeps turning off

Hello. I have a problem with the Freebox Revolution (and the TV which are not in the same room) that I've had for 10 years.
Sometimes there are image issues that "falter". After some calls, Free's response was that the devices should not be on the same power outlet. I checked, and it's true that when both Freeplugs are on the same outlet, it works better, but there's no way I'm having an extension cord running through the house. But overall, it has been working relatively well (for years). Recently, the Freebox has been completely shutting down. I have to unplug and replug it for it to restart (about half an hour each time). After another call to Free, the response was that I need to have an electrician come to check the PLC network. What is he going to check??? By coming to this site, I found a solution from another user who suggested putting both Free plugs on the same outlet and resetting them together for 1-2 seconds. That's what I did, and it's working again. THANK YOU.
I’ll wait a few days and then I will call FREE to thank them for not mentioning this option; but rather to have an electrician come!!
Kudos to this forum

Hi,
Thanks for them, although powerline adapters are a system from another age, now abandoned by Free for its new products, like the Pop.
Otherwise,
you could link to the discussion that proposed this solution, but there should be quite a few.
In the longer term, it would be better to plan for a direct ethernet cable to connect the TV, which would save you from this kind of hassle.

Hello. Thanks for the response - Bad luck, the problem has come back. The idea of an Ethernet cable is good, but since the devices are in different rooms, I can't see myself having a cable that runs through my house. I'm thinking about connecting the two powerline adapters to the same electrical outlet. (I got a great powerline speed by plugging both into the same power outlet and resetting both at the same time for 2 seconds). But it "unblocked" when I plugged them back into their own PCs.
To be continued.
Thank you for your help, all ideas are welcome.

a cable,
it doesn't necessarily go through the rooms, it can follow the walls and go under the doors.
See the video at the bottom of the page.

Thank you for the response, but it's still just patchwork. I have too many obstacles to overcome. I would have preferred if in 2021 there had been something more effective with all this technology. We can communicate with MARS, but not between 2 or 3 rooms just ten meters apart!!!
Thank you anyway for trying to find me a solution.

No, DIY,
it's powerline adapters, you shouldn't confuse them, it's a temporary and provisional solution.
Wiring is always the best solution, it's not for nothing that it's mandatory in new constructions.
Otherwise, there's mesh wifi which replaces powerline adapters more effectively if you're allergic to wiring.
