Hello everyone,
I want to clarify that I am new to Ubuntu. I installed Ubuntu on a partition (Partition5) next to Windows (Partition 3), but I need more disk space for Ubuntu. I recovered 20 GB from my Windows partition, but now I want to "merge" this free space with my Ubuntu partition and use it with Ubuntu.
I have done some research and cannot find a solution to my problem..
Thank you in advance.
Configuration: Linux / Chrome 90.0.4430.212

Hello,
Launch the live USB that you used for the installation. Open GParted and select your disk, then right-click on your Linux partition and select "Resize". With the mouse, expand your partition to the left into all the free space and confirm the operation, which will take quite a long time. Be careful, if you have important data, back it up first because there is always a risk when modifying partitions. And do not interrupt the operation before it's finished! -
