Connecting an old TV to a Freebox 4K

Hello,
I received a Freebox mini 4K on Saturday, as a replacement for the old Freebox, which is said to be obsolete according to Free. The "server" works because I have internet and phone service.
However, I have an old TV that I can't connect because it doesn't have an HDMI port, obviously. I tried using an RCA/HDMI converter, but that doesn't work. I selected PAL, of course. I even changed some cables to make sure I didn't have any faulty ones, but nothing works. The "player" does not communicate with the TV. It turns on, and the plug is green, so I think it works. However, I have no way to check if it's malfunctioning. I hope not!
Have you ever done this type of connection with the Freebox 4K? Do you have any ideas to help me, please?

What are the references (Brand and model) of the television?

There I think there is a mistake, the player offers, if I understand correctly, an HDMI output,
if a converter is needed to use the RCA inputs of the television then it is an HDMI to RCA converter that is needed, not the other way around.

I wrote RCA/HDMI because I didn't think there was a specific meaning to respect when writing it. The converter I bought is HDMI(input)/RCA(output). Is that okay like this? If so, well it's not working. I bought it on Amazon. My television is a CLAYTON. I can't tell you more. I didn't know this brand. I got the TV from a friend when mine "broke down." It works very well.
