Since there hasn't been a solution and it's one of the top results on Google, I'm reviving the topic to find a solution.

Windows 10 has regressed in that when merging folders, you only have the options to overwrite, compare, or ignore, unlike in Windows 7 where you could "automatically rename" files with the same name.

How can you automatically rename files when merging folders that contain files with the same name?

    I answer myself.
    You just need to select "Compare files" and choose the 2 versions!
