Hi!
I recently moved to France and finally got fiber, which is really great.
But I have a little problem. I wanted to try streaming for fun and test my connection, but what a surprise when I noticed that my live stream wasn't working at all! It was all choppy; loading endlessly... etc.
I then noticed that no matter what I do, as soon as I'm gaming, my connection drops drastically for the rest of my usage, while my ping remains steady at around 15ms. Uploading an image on Discord is normally instantaneous, yet when I launch a game, it takes forever.
My PC is equipped with 16GB of RAM, an RTX 2060 6GB, and a Ryzen 5 4600H. It's a laptop (by the way, I'm wondering if the problem might stem from that...).
It seems that as soon as I launch a game, the connection is reserved for it and any other usage becomes impossible.

I even tested with games that aren't online but are indeed solo... and even small games. I’m not sure if this has something to do with my CPU or something else...
Hoping one of you can help me! Thanks a lot :D
EDIT: It's fixed! Actually, the Lenovo Vantage app has a feature that prioritizes internet for gaming, which explains why I couldn't do anything while playing! I just had to uncheck it.

Dude, I'll never thank you enough for this edit, I was facing exactly the same problem and I was about to go crazy
You deserve all the love in the world, I wish you success in all your life projects and to be happy until the end of your days. -
Possibility to explain where we find the "feature" I have a friend who has 800gb fiber and when he launches a game he ends up with 8gb he also has a Lenovo PC.

It hasn't changed anything for me, unless I misunderstood what "feature" you're talking about, but otherwise I still drop to 8mb when I launch a game.

It’s been almost a week that I’ve been racking my brains trying to understand why I can’t stream because of this drop in bandwidth as soon as I launch my games. Dude, I can’t thank you enough. The problem is FINALLY fixed.
