Hello,
this message is quite old apparently, but I have a similar problem for which I have not found any solutions...
my taskbar (Windows XP, the blue one at the bottom of the screen in normal theme) is twice its normal size
description of my taskbar
at the top: my start bar, my shortcuts in small icons
below: the internet pages that I open
far right: time, date + 9 icons
I tried the display properties, etc... andcccccccccccccCCCCCCCCCCC
Help
it's not a very serious problem, but I wouldn't want it to lead to others
thank you in advance.....

Hello again, I solved
Unlock the "Taskbars"
In the one below, under the quick launch icons (QL), there is a small vertical bar. With the left button, you need to click on it and move it up, a bit to the right of the QL icons. Then we lock it again and it's all good.
It seems obvious. See you later.
