External hard drive issue PS4

Hello,

I bought a Seagate external hard drive for my PS4, it is formatted FAT.

My console cannot recognize it as extended storage; after a few minutes, a message appears:

- The connection to the USB storage device has been interrupted (CE-37856-9)

Even the PlayStation website doesn’t know this error code!
