Hello
I have been having a problem for a few weeks with my HP Pavilion laptop that is only 6 months old.
For the past few weeks, it has been crackling every second when I play sound on YouTube, watch movies, or listen to music. I have watched several tutorials on YouTube but to no avail. The crackling is faint but it's annoying because if I turn up the volume, the crackling gets louder as well.
This is my first time on a forum, hoping that someone can help me.
Best regards

Hello Mr. Mathieu Gonza!
I hope you are doing well!
Have you tried updating the drivers for your sound card? You open the "device manager" and then go to the "audio inputs and outputs" section, click on the small arrow to drop down the menu and right-click on your sound device (speakers/headphones, the name may vary depending on the machine), then select "update drivers" and then "search automatically for updated drivers." This may resolve the issue; if not, try using another audio device like a Bluetooth speaker (my son Josh has a much better one than the speakers on my professional laptop) or some headphones to determine if the crackling persists.
If it doesn’t persist, you can use these devices on a daily basis; however, if it does persist even with headphones or an external speaker, I recommend taking your computer to a repair service (after trying to update the sound card drivers)
I would have suggested coming to my store, but a moderator has forbidden me from disclosing its address on the forum...
However, your PC should still be under warranty, so don’t hesitate!
Have a nice day,

I just connected my AirPods via Bluetooth and the buzzing is gone.

And I just remembered when I once connected my computer via HDMI to watch a movie on my TV and even the sound coming from the TV had this little crackling noise every second or so, as if it was popping.
