Hello, I used to turn on my Samsung TV with a hairdryer, but now it doesn't work anymore. What should I do and how much is this likely to cost me? Thank you

Yes, you just have to watch videos and it used to work very well, but now it doesn't work anymore. These are just tricks to buy time until a repairman comes, but how much will the bill be...

    Hello

I would be curious to know more about this particular procedure. Usually, you just have to press a button....

Yes, but when your TV won't turn on anymore, you're looking for a solution. I found one in a video online: I heated the back of the screen with my hairdryer, and it turned back on. I managed to do that for a week, but now I need a repairman. You can just watch the videos on the internet for power-up issues; there are very effective tips when you have no other option. And even if you say to turn it on with a button, of course, I'm not completely stupid, but what do you do when the button doesn't work anymore? Either you look for a plan B, or you call the repairman, or you buy a new TV! If you want, you can buy me one, thanks.

I did not find any videos, but this solution is mentioned in several forums.
Generally, it is a capacitor that is damaged, probably on the power supply board.
If you know someone who is handy with electronics, it can be detected and repaired.

Otherwise, you will need to consider acquiring another television. There are also some very good second-hand ones available.
