Hello,
By changing the language on my Samsung UE40D6510 (Series 6) TV, I made a mistake and selected Suomi which is just before French (:
The basic manual in French states that the reset can be done through Menu=>system P&P and the code 0000 or 1111 for France ... simple but since everything is written in Finnish and the detailed manual is integrated into the TV, it is also in Finnish! (what could be more normal)...
Could a kind soul enlighten me on the keys and menus to activate "blindly" to get to the pin code request that would restart the installation from scratch.

Thank you for the help, I managed to get by with the second solution but in digital form and by going to a French-Finnish translation site.
I had to go right once more, down three times, and right once... finally at 11:30 PM my TV is speaking French again and I’m about to empty a tube of aspirin.
In any case, a big thank you to poupougne13 and to those who put me on the right track.
