I find myself in a difficult situation because I need to open ports from 443 to 14000 in order to enjoy Ubisoft games, but I can't do it. The message from mafreebox.free.fr is as follows: You must choose a port greater than 49152, but I don't have fiber

    "I don't have the fiber," it's nevertheless a damn typical message of IPv4 sharing in fiber: https://www.numerama.com/tech/145703-free-peut-attribuer-la-meme-adresse-ip-a-plusieurs-abonnes.html

    It might be extended to ADSL??? Check if in your subscription settings you have the option to request a full stack IPv4.

      It seems to me that I've seen messages in this direction; it wouldn't be surprising, given that the entire Free network is shifting from IPv4 to IPv6, the norm being IPv6 and IPv4 being secondary, with the scarcity of addresses not helping.

      and it's already been 4 years...
      At this rate, they're doing like Bouygues, they're installing one or more NAT64 for external use and they're selling off half of their IPv4 stock, keeping only enough for those who need an IPv4 server.
      I'm going to have a laugh the day I see my connections to CCM or www.impots.gouv.fr in 64:ff9b:: in a netstat...

        We won't know more about ckado2's issue since their question has been resolved ;-)

        It's true that it seems to me that there were questions/hypotheses about shared IPv4 in ADSL.

        I checked my Free account, I do have the full stack request

        but without effect

        maybe because it's related to the fiber that I haven't requested yet

        I will need to perform a test on the incoming ports
