USB not recognized: Code 43 port reset failure Solved

Question

Hello everyone,  I plugged in my USB drive and transferred a file onto it, then I unplugged it, connected it to another laptop to transfer the file, and when I plugged the drive back into my PC, it was no longer recognized.  I can see it in the device manager, but this message appears when I click on properties:  Windows has stopped this device because it has problems. (Code 43) The request to reset the USB port failed.  I tried disabling and re-enabling the device but it doesn't work.  Any ideas?  Thanks for any suggestions!

Hello Panth33ra, thank you for your response. Unfortunately, it's still not working.  After doing what you said, it specifies to me that Windows does not recommend the installation, etc. I accepted anyway, I waited a bit, the key disappeared for a brief moment, and when it reappeared, it's still not recognized...

Hello.  Just passing by . . .  Check the properties of this drive to see if it has switched to RAW format instead of FAT 32. This error code 43 is part of the probabilities of an unrecognized drive.  See you later . . .

Hi,  Erase it with Active@ KillDisk Freeware  http://killdisk.com/killdisk-freeware.htm  Then, format it immediately with HP USB Disk Storage format Tool  If you can't do it, I might have another tool in my box.

You can download ChipGenius v4.20.1107 here:  https://www.usbdev.ru/files/chipgenius/  The password is written  Extract with 7-Zip  If your antivirus blocks it, disable it.  Paste here a text log created by simply right-clicking in the ChipGenius window   +++   Or try the USB drive on another port.  USB drives do not all have standard sizes.  A port can also be dirty; you can clean it with the PC unplugged and the USB port unpowered.
