My graphics card is only at 30% in-game.

Hello, I recently upgraded my setup to:
- an i7 8700
- a RTX 3060Ti
- Corsair RM 650
- 16 Gb Ram 3200 Mhz Cas 13 (dual channel 2 x 8Gb)
etc...
At first, everything was fine, but all of a sudden, after some updates, my graphics card is only being utilized at 30% in games while my processor spikes to 100% (there's no risk of bottlenecking) and no component is overheating (Processor at 60°C and card at 50°C)
I'm on maximum performance settings for both power management and NVIDIA settings. What should I do? Thanks in advance for any response.

Have you tried changing the video settings in the games?
Some settings may be overloading the processor.

In my opinion, the problem is more on the processor side; it is not normal for it to run at 100% even in CPU-intensive games like RTS. A processor will never run at 100% under normal usage in any game. Have you used parking to force CPU utilization? Check in-game which processes are taxing the CPU.
How do the components behave in a less demanding game?
If the performance is that of a 4K session (which heavily taxes the CPU), try 1080p to see if it makes a difference.

I insist, but it's impossible for it to be a bottleneck. But thank you for your reply.

Hello,

Have you noticed any slowdowns during the games?

Yes, and I personally think it's a driver issue. I've experienced performance drops which makes sense since the card doesn't go higher than 30%. Thank you for your response.

Don't you have the latest Nvidia drivers?

Yes, the drivers and the pilots.

Hey, I’m finally closing this forum as I found the solution. After several scans and analyses with different antivirus software, I finally found some malicious files that could be removed. Since then, everything is working perfectly. Thanks to everyone who took the time to respond to me.

Hello

it's normal
your latest generation graphics card is limited by your 8th generation CPU
your CPU is running at 100%
