What are some German channels that you can receive? To see if you're correctly on Astra!
Alim LNB yes
Low frequency 09750
High frequency 10600
Polarization vertical
Frequency 12402
Bitrate 29700
I would say put everything on auto because some transponders broadcast encrypted, and thus there’s no image or sound

A thank you is appreciated.
Mark as solved if your problem has been resolved. I use the tu form with everyone.

these are not the main channels, to be sure you should have pro7 sat1 rtl dasErste zdf dmax tele5 among others
list in this text

but it's almost certainly astra
it's more likely a misconfiguration of the receiver
when the decoder boots up, does it indicate that it's the tnt sat and that the card is up to date?

Strange, I have a Servimat TNT Sat, it displays the status of the card every time
it does not take into account the TNT Sat card when the (motorized) satellite dish is not on Astra, it records all the clear channels available at that moment
this confirms the hypothesis of a bad alignment, you could be on Hotbird 13° (+ more Arabic speakers) or Astra 28° (+ more German speakers)

Well, I'll go back up on the roof this afternoon, but according to my compass, I'm at 160° south, and I've refined it with a sat finder...
Can you just give me the correct parameters for the transponder so if I can't get it, I can move on?
I'll go buy an antenna because this is starting to annoy me (15 days)
Thanks

It may also be that the local oscillator of the LNB head is out of order or non-compliant, try replacing it with a new one, for example:

To check the orientation of the satellite dish, use this website:
https://www.dishpointer.com/
-Enter your full address on the left
-Select 19.2° East (Astra) from the list on the right
-Click on "Search!" next to your address,
-Zoom in on the map using the + button to clearly locate your house
-Place the target at the location of your dish by clicking and dragging, and use a landmark for orientation (tree, house), first in direction then in elevation.
At the bottom right of the map, you have the elevation, azimuth, and rotation direction in degrees of the head in its mount (cross-polarization adjustment) on the last line "LNB Skew", which is very important.
Also use the signal meters on the decoder by communicating with someone in front of the screen via phone to refine the settings that should ideally be done with a satellite pointer.
