Press F12

I tried pressing the fn key and F12 at the same time... but it didn't work. I even went into the BIOS... system configuration... keyboard key... and I disabled the function of the F1 to F12 keys... but it still didn't work.

The situation is as follows: I was given an old laptop and they removed all the files inside. The problem is when I want to install my Wi-Fi... I get a message telling me to remove the key on the top or on the side of the laptop or disable the wireless function. The only key that remains lit is F12... I have tried everything to disable it.

@chrissyvdlHow do you try to install the Wi-Fi? Normally, you just need to install the driver, and I absolutely don't see why you would need to disable the Wi-Fi to install the Wi-Fi; that's not logical.

If the function keys don't work, you might need to install a driver to use them.

What is the exact model of the PC?
