Importing an Excel spreadsheet into InDesign

Hello,
When the "thousands separator" option is checked in Excel, importing this table into InDesign causes problems. For example, the number 1,550 becomes 1. If anyone has an idea why... Thank you in advance

    It's true that importing Excel files into InDesign can be a bit weird sometimes..
    Personally, I prefer a PDF import done from Excel..
    Another method for numbers is to convert them to text in Excel.. this way there are no more conversion issues.
