Hello everyone,
For almost 6 years I have been using document management software that I receive in PDF via email or download directly. These are banking documents, invoices, payslips, etc.
I am currently using Novaxel Family, which is free, but it seems to be limited to 5000 documents as I recently received a warning stating that I only have 991 documents left to integrate. I sent an email to request a price quote, but it seems that the company has been acquired by another. I contacted the Moovapps company, which has taken over the rights, but the receptionist didn't understand my request and offered me to buy a Moovapps license as if I were a company. This is not accessible to an individual. Unless she misunderstood my request.
In short, I am looking for another software that is preferably free without limitations, possibly open source, that can replace Novaxel Family and has the same features, namely: document scanning, document importation (PDF or JPG), organization in the style of Novaxel, possibly concatenation of already stored documents to make a single PDF per year (for example, grouping the 12 bank statements of 2020 into one), the ability to print and export the PDF as an external file.
I tested Paperwork, but it doesn't suit me.
Do you have anything to suggest as a replacement for Novaxel Family?

Hello,
What bothers me about Novaxel Family is that people think it's free, meaning that the various sites that offer it for download claim that the software is free, when it's actually only meant for importing 5000 documents.
When you say "working in a traditional way," what was your solution? Creating a directory and subdirectory by category, then sub-subdirectory, and then putting the documents there, basically something hierarchical like with Novaxel?

Hello,
Okay, thanks, I will contact him by email this Monday.
Have a great weekend.
Best regards.

Hello,
I am closely following your topic.
Like you, I used Novaxel and I was thrilled by the intuitiveness of this software.
Personally, I haven't found anything to replace it, and I've had to bring all the files back one by one to now work in a traditional way.
Good luck if you find a "free" equivalent.

It's crazy how many people ask for help and don't know how to say thank you.

Hello,
Well, this isn't going well at all. I'm wondering if I shouldn't just "hack" the software by bypassing the 5000 limit.
I know it's wrong, very wrong, but if there's another solution, I'm all ears. -
Thank you for the encouragement, but I'm not giving up. I'll find a solution, let's say I have about a year ahead of me. LOL

My database has been unlocked:
"Hello Sir,
I would like to congratulate you. We have indeed included a test of the number of documents stored in the Ged.
This test allows us to evaluate the degree of usage of our program and to remind our users that this usage is strictly private.
I am attaching an unlimited license for the product along with the documentation for its setup.
I wish you a good use of Novaxel." -
Hello,
Thank you for the feedback. However, who should I address?
Best regards.

Hello,
I haven't received a response to my message from Monday from the technical director. Either he no longer works at the company or he is on vacation.
Have a good Easter weekend.
Best regards.-
Hi!
I stumbled upon your question by chance...
Has this "limitation" issue been resolved?
Because I have a ton of documents to organize and before I dive into a solution, I want to be sure I won't be limited once I get started...
By the way, if you have a tutorial link (I'm a novice at this!) and the page to download it from the "right place," I’d appreciate that too!
;-)
Thanks!
