New Chromebook / Install Thunderbird Solved

Question

Hello,
I just bought a Chromebook.
I installed Thunderbird via Linux following a tutorial on mychromebook.fr, but the local folders won't show up!
Could you please help me?

Indeed, it's clearer this way.

If it involves transferring Thunderbird from one computer to another, it should go through a backup on one side and a restore on the other.

I don't know Linux, but try to adapt the procedure below made for PC:

An alternative would be to export the local folders from the old PC and import them on the new one, but you would also need to do it for the contacts.

To achieve this, the ImportExportTools add-on is very useful.

Hello @EUMAT  What do you mean by "but the local folders do not want to appear"?  Do you see the mention "local folders" in the Thunderbird folders after installation? Hello @SerBal22,Thank you for your message.I will try to be clearer:I used Thunderbird on my old laptop under Windows, my email provider is 1&1, Ionos.I want to transfer all my emails from the old laptop to the new Chromebook.I managed to install Thunderbird via Linux on the Chromebook. I have all the emails except for those stored in Local Folders.In the Thunderbird folders on the Chromebook, there is one called Local Folder, but it is not the right one (these are not the ones that were on the old laptop), and I don't have the ability to change the path.Here is the link to the screenshot:When I click on Browse to replace the file "lp4kmiux.default-default" with mine.Nothing happens, I simply don't have access. Everything is grayed out.Thank you sincerely for your help.
