Hello,
I can open and navigate with Firefox without any problems. However, when I try to open Thunderbird, the message "Couldn't load XPCom" appears, and I cannot access the email client.
I ran a "repair" on Firefox: it didn't help.
I tried to uninstall Thunderbird to reinstall it later, but uninstallation is not possible.
As I'm not a computer expert, I'm looking for a simple solution, if it exists. THANK YOU!
Configuration: Windows Vista / Firefox 43.0

Good evening,
Clear the browser cache and the Windows Temp folder.
Click the Windows button and type %temp% in the displayed search field. This should open a Windows Explorer window showing the contents of the Windows Temp folder. At a minimum, delete all files that have names referring to Mozilla or Thunderbird.
You can delete everything in this folder.
Disable your antivirus for 1 hour, for example.
Download Thunderbird

Delete the folder C: \ Program Files \ Mozilla Thunderbird
Run the Thunderbird installation.
Re-enable the antivirus.
