Hello, I hope you're doing well. So I installed VMware to run Windows XP because I wanted to play some old PC games on my new PC. I'm installing Windows XP using the disk and the installation is going very well. However, the problem is that the sound is choppy. I'm wondering why since my PC should be powerful enough for virtualization (9th generation i7 and 16 GB of RAM). Do you have any idea what the problem could be?
Thank you very much! ????

Hello friend,
Here's a link that might be useful to you:

I have to admit that it's surprising that the sound isn't working right away; normally, even without the add-ons, it should work.
Have you properly configured the sound settings on your virtual machine?
