Hello,
I'm Win7.
I want to create a virtual machine under Debian. So far, everything is working fine.
The problem is that the keyboard and mouse stop working as soon as the graphical interface starts.
To try to be clearer: I remove the session manager (kdm). I get to the login page in console mode, I can log in without any issue and can type whatever I want.
I type "startx", and kde starts, but the mouse cursor is frozen; it doesn't move at all. Similarly, the keyboard doesn't respond; ctrl+alt+F2 doesn't allow access to a virtual terminal (whereas it did before). However, the machine is not crashed, because during this time KDE continues to load.
Thank you for your help, I'm lost.

How many virtual machines do you have? What hypervisor do you use?

I installed 3 virtual machines (but only one runs at a time)
I use VMware Player.
